The tourism industry of Da Nang city has focused on promoting the opening of many new routes, demonstrated by organizing a series of working sessions with domestic and foreign airlines.

According to Da Nang Online, In 2025, it is expected to open many new routes between the central coastal region of Vietnam and Incheon (Korea), Bangkok (Thailand), Osaka (Japan), Yangon (Myanmar), Russia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East, promising to attract more tourists to the city.
- Starting from January 23, Air Premia will operate the Da Nang - Incheon (Korea) route by wide-body aircraft, with a frequency of 4 flights/week.
- On March 30, Vietnam Airlines will reopen the Bangkok - Da Nang route and the Osaka (Japan) - Da Nang route on July 3.
- From April 2, Myanmar Airways International plans to launch the Yangon (Myanmar) - Da Nang route, with a frequency of 2 flights/week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
- For the Manila (Philippines) - Da Nang route, Royal Air will continue to operate charter flights and replace wide-body aircraft with a frequency of 4 days/flight.
- Citi Links will continue to operate charter flights on the Jakarta (Indonesia) - Da Nang route from March to October 2025.
- Airlines such as Crystal Bay and Anex in Russia and Eastern Europe are expected to open new flights connecting Eastern European countries with Da Nang from March 30 to the end of October 2025.
- In the Middle East, Emirates Airlines is accelerating the opening of flights on the Dubai - Bangkok - Da Nang route with a frequency of 7 flights/week. The route is expected to operate from June 1, 2025.

There are two new airlines operating in Da Nang for the first time:
- Malaysia Airlines operates the Kuala Lumpur - Da Nang route with a frequency of 7 flights/week using B737-800 aircraft.
- Hong Kong Airlines launched the Hong Kong - Da Nang route with a frequency of 7 flights/week.
In addition, Citilink Indonesia, an Indonesian low-cost airline, operates charter flights on the Jakarta (Indonesia) - Da Nang route.
By the end of 2024, Da Nang currently has a total of 22 domestic and international routes.
There are currently 7 domestic flights to Da Nang including: Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Lat, Hai Phong, Can Tho, Phu Quoc and Buon Ma Thuot.
Meanwhile, there are 15 international routes connecting Da Nang from Bangkok (Thailand), Singapore, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Taipei - Taichung - Kaohsiung (Taiwan - China), Macau (China), Hong Kong (China), Siem Reap (Cambodia), Incheon - Busan - Daegu - Cheongju (Korea), Narita (Japan) and Manila (Philippines).
On average, Da Nang receives 111 flights/day, including 52 international flights and 59 domestic flights.
