1. Vietnam Visa Requirements
1.1 Visitors from the following countries may enter visa-free
- 14 days: Brunei, Myanmar
- 15 days: Belarus, Denmark, Italy, Japan, Finland, France, Germany, Norway, Russia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, The United Kingdom
- 21 days: The Philippines
- 30 days: Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand
To stay beyond this number of days, you may apply for a visa extension upon your arrival in Vietnam.

1.2 Vietnam's e-Visa is now available to nationals of 80 countries

Apply online for your tourist E-visa, valid for 30 days. E-visa fee is 25 USD, the processing time is 3 working days. You will receive your code by email to print your visa.

1.3 Vietnam Visa on Arrival
If you are planning a multiple-entry visit or a stay of more than 30 days, you will want to apply for a visa on arrival. To do this you'll need:
- A 4x6 passport photo with a white background and no glasses.
- A filled-out visa application form.
- A passport or substitute ID valid for six months from the date you plan to enter Vietnam.
- Payment (25 USD to 50 USD) for visa fees, and
- A Letter of Approval from a Vietnamese embassy or consulate (if you are picking up your visa at the airport).
If you are near a Vietnamese embassy or consulate, you can submit your photo, application form, passport, and visa fee in person. This website will guide you through the process.
If you are unable to reach a Vietnamese embassy or are short on time, there are trusted services online that can provide you with a valid Letter of Approval for a fee. Bring this letter together with a visa application form and your other documents to the Visa on Arrival counter at the airport when you land.

The most convenient way for tourists to get to Da Nang is by air. Da Nang International Airport (DAD) is the third largest airport in Vietnam (together with Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat airports).
Currently, there are 25 airlines with routes to and from Da Nang: Air Busan, Air Macau, Air Seoul, AirAsia, Asiana Airlines, Bamboo Airways, Bangkok Airways, Cambodia Angkor Air, China Airlines, EVA Air, HK Express, Jeju Air , Jin Air, Korean Air, Lao Airlines, Malindo Airways, Singapore Airlines, Starlux Airlines, Thai AirAsia, Thai Vietjet Air, Tigerair Taiwan, T´Way Air, VECA, VietJet Air and Vietnam Airlines.
Da Nang Airport currently has two terminals: a domestic terminal (Terminal 1) and an international terminal (Terminal 2). These two stations are about 5 minutes walk from each other.
The airport is located in the city center area, about 6km from the beach in the east, travel time by car is about 10-15 minutes. This is a modern airport with a long history, dating back to the Indochina period. The airport has two exits, going in the direction of Nguyen Van Linh Street (1) and Duy Tan Street (2).
- (1) Go straight on Nguyen Van Linh street, cross Dragon bridge, continue on Vo Van Kiet street to go to the sea.
- (2) Go straight on Duy Tan street, cross Tran Thi Ly bridge, continue on Nguyen Van Thoai street to go to My Khe beach.
The system of hotels and resorts in Da Nang is very diverse in price and quality. Large hotels and resorts are usually built in coastal areas, in Son Tra and Ngu Hanh Son districts. The area along the Han River, in the central area, also has many hotels.
Hoi An (in Quang Nam province), about 30km southeast of Da Nang international airport. Visitors can take a taxi, Grab or shuttle bus of travel agencies (for which visitors have booked a tour) to Hoi An.
Da Nang has a seaport to receive passenger cruise ships (Tien Sa port) and national highways connecting the South and North (National Highway 1A) and the Central Highlands region.
